Crosstown Learning Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and has been an anchor in the Kendall-Whittier area for over 45 years. Crosstown is curriculum-based and provides nationally accredited early care and learning opportunities for children ages six weeks to pre-kindergarten. Crosstown cares for children from all socio-economic backgrounds. Additionally, many of our children benefit from childcare subsidies from the Oklahoma Department of Human Services and tribal assistance.

Opportunities for volunteers include:

  • Events -  “Day of” or committee member
  • Read/play with kids at Crosstown
  • Family Literacy Night - Read to the group, lead an activity, donate goods/supplies

If you want to volunteer:

Call or email Kathy Thompson to make an appointment. She will provide you with an application and schedule a tour and orientation. Volunteers under age 13 must have an adult volunteer with them each time. Volunteers can work one day a week, one hour a week, one week a month — you decide what works for you!
